Individual Therapy

One-on-One therapy offers a space to slow down, feel what needs to be felt, and move towards what matters.

What to Expect

Our work together moves at your pace. Sessions are collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for your values and story.

Depending on your needs, therapy may include:

  • EMDR therapy for traumatic grief or distressing memories

  • Narrative therapy to help you make sense of your story

  • Nervous system education and emotional regulation tools

  • Space to explore spirituality, identity, and meaning on your terms

There is no pressure to “move on” or have everything figured out.

How it Helps

Individual therapy can help you:

  • Process grief in a way that feels safe and steady

  • Reduce the intensity of trauma symptoms

  • Untangle shame and guilt connected to spiritual harm

  • Feel more grounded in your daily life and work

  • Reconnect with your voice, identity, and values

Sessions are offered virtually throughout Ontario.

Group Therapy - Healing in Community

Being with others who “get it”

Group therapy offers something individual work can’t always provide: the experience of not being alone.

Each group is intentional, trauma-informed, and structured to create safety and connection.

  • Leaving or being harmed within a faith or spiritual community can feel like a layered loss. The loss of belonging, identity, certainty, and sometimes relationships.

This group is for adults who are:

    • Recovering from spiritual abuse or religious harm

    • Deconstructing faith and feeling disoriented or alone

    • Carrying guilt, fear, or shame connected to past beliefs

    • Grieving the loss of spiritual community or identity

    What to Expect

A guided and supportive group that:

    • Psychoeducation on religious trauma and nervous system impacts

    • Gentle reflection and discussion

    • Space to share (if and when you’re ready)

    • Tools to support emotional regulation and self-trust

    How It Helps

    Participants often leave feeling:

    • Less alone in their experience

    • More clear about their values and identity

    • More compassionate toward themselves

    • More grounded as they move forward

  • Working on the front lines often means carrying stories that don’t leave easily.

Repeated exposure to crisis, trauma, and grief can build quietly over time.

    Who It’s For

This group is for front-line professionals experiencing:

    • Secondary trauma or compassion fatigue

    • Burnout and emotional exhaustion

    • Grief related to client loss or crisis work

    • Difficulty “turning off” work stress

    What to Expect

A structure and supportive group that provides:

    • Psychoeducation on secondary trauma and burnout

    • Nervous system regulation strategies

    • Guided reflection and discussion

    • Space to process difficult experiences in a confidential setting

    How It Helps

    Participants often experience:

    • Increased resilience and emotional steadiness

    • Reduced isolation

    • Greater awareness of stress patterns

    • Practical tools for sustaining themselves in demanding roles
